Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho believes FA Cup is biggest domestic trophy
Tottenham will travel to Middlesbrough on Sunday to kick-off their 2019/20 FA Cup campaign.
Both sides enter the competition in the 3rd round.
And with Spurs already out of the League Cup, this competition represents perhaps Mourinhos best chance to clinch silverware in his first season with the North London outfit.
The Lilywhites will likely face a tough test though as while Middlesbrough had a pretty slow start to the season, the Championship outfit have improved significantly in recent weeks, winning their last four league outings.

Spurs have won the FA Cup eight times throughout their history but they have not done so since 1991.
Tottenham are also without any trophy since the 2007/08 season when they lifted the League Cup.
So, with Jose Mourinho, one of the most decorated managers in European football at the helm, Spurs will no doubt bee keen to end that trophy drought in the near future.
Ahead of the clash with Boro, Mourinho has been speaking about the FA Cup with the seasoned boss labeling it the biggest domestic cup ahead of the likes of the Copa Del Rey and Italian Cup:
We are not speaking about just something for me, the FA Cup is big, it is the biggest domestic cup.
“I played the Copa Del Rey Barcelona against Real Madrid and the Italian Cup Inter vs Roma and they are not comparable with FA Cup Final, even when the two teams competing are not the biggest in the country. For me the FA Cup is a very, very special cup. And thats for me, individually.” As quoted by the Evening Standard.
