Kauan Basile is an eight-year-old boy who is currently honing his craft down in Santo’s youth system.
Despite his tender years, though, Basile is already making headlines in Brazil.
The reason for this is that he recently set a new record, surpassing the likes of Neymar and Messi in the process.
As per Brazilian outlet, Ole, Kauan Basile recently signed a contract with Nike. And at eight years of age, he became the youngest ever athlete to do so.
Messi previously did so at 15, Neymar at 13 and Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, who had held the record until recently, did so at 11:
