Hakim Ziyech says he is looking forward to forming a deadly partnership with his fellow Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic, supported by Timo Werner and Kai Havertz.
Ziyech was the first of a flurry of new arrivals at Stamford Bridge in recent months. However he was the last to make his debut, following a knee injury suffered in August.
The Moroccan came on after 72 minutes against Southampton, as the Blues ended up drawing 3-3 with their opponents last weekend.
Fellow new arrivals Werner and Havertz have settled in magnificently to Frank Lampard‘s side. Indeed the former’s brace gave the Blues a two-goal lead last weekend before Havertz made it 3-2.
Now, Ziyech wants to replicate his new teammates’ form going forward after returning to fitness.
“For me it doesnt matter where I am playing it is just the way I love to play the game, and it doesnt matter where,” the winger said (via football.london).
“Kai and Timo are two big talents, they have proved it at their clubs before. Christian is one of the biggest talents. They have a lot of quality.
“Christian has been here a season longer, and you can see what he is capable of doing on the pitch. He is a crazy winger.
“It is really exciting to work with them and I cant wait to be on the pitch, fully fit and doing our thing.”

Ziyech targeting Chelsea rhythm
Ziyech added that he is looking to make an influence in a run of games in a bid to improve his fitness, as well as his standing in Chelsea‘s attacking ranks.
“For me [being fully fit] can’t come soon enough, but if you think realistically I’ve been out for a while, the season stopped early for me last year, so I didn’t play for a while as well,” he said.
“The injury came at an unlucky time, so for me it’s now important just to get rhythm back and build up everything again.
“I know it will take some time, but for me it couldn’t be soon enough.
“It is what it is right now, it’s most important for me to build and get to 100 per cent fitness, and that’s what we’re working to.”
Ziyech also came on in the second half against Sevilla in Tuesday’s Champions League draw.
The Blues return to Premier League action on Saturday with a crunch match against Manchester United.
