Nathan Ake’s move to Man City is confirmed
According to Fabrizio Romano, Man City have signed Nathan Ake from Bournemouth.
In a short update on social media, the Italian transfer guru has revealed:
Nathan Ake to Manchester City is a done deal, confirmed.
Total agreement between Man City and Bournemouth, personal terms ok and medicals on next days.
News of Ake’s switch to Man City shouldn’t be too surprising after reports spilled out last week confirming that Bournemouth had accepted a £41m bid from Man City for their 25-year-old Dutch centre-half.
It’s been a busy 24-hours for Man City after the club announced the signing of Ferran Torres from Valencia.
Crystal Palace’s lowball salary offer to free agent Ryan Fraser
Also leaving Bournemouth this summer is Ryan Fraser. His contract at the Vitality Stadium expired at the end of June.
Fraser’s exit from the Cherries has been known for since the beginning of the restart, as the Scottish international refused to play for Bournemouth.
On Wednesday, the Times report that Crystal Palace have made a move to sign the 26-year-old winger. Readers are told:
Ryan Fraser has been offered a contract worth about £55,000 a week by Crystal Palace with his desired move to a bigger club looking unlikely to materialise.
The midfielder has been seeking a deal of more than £100,000 a week.
Will Fraser need to compromise on his salary expectations? Maybe, as Fraser hasn’t yet received the offers he’d been hoping for.
The Times note that while Fraser is keen for Spurs, Arsenal or Everton to make him an offer, so far they’ve not done so.
So will Fraser reach an agreement with Crystal Palace? Possibly, although the Times announce that West Ham are also looking to sign the midfielder.
