A French model agency boss accused of sharing an under-age sex slave with Prince Andrew has been charged with raping a teenager.

Jean-Luc Brunel, 75, is already on remand in Paris over alleged attacks on Virginia Giuffre, the 38-year-old suing the Duke of York over sex assault claims.

Brunel said to have supplied girls for Andrews billionaire sex-trafficker friend Jeffrey Epstein has now been charged with raping a young model when she was 17 in the late 1990s.

Now in her 40s and living in the US, she told magistrates Brunel raped her in her Paris home after her drink was spiked in a nightclub.

Brunel has worked with stars such as Jerry Hall and Sharon Stone and was arrested at an airport carrying a one-way ticket to Dakar in West Africa last December.

Dozens of women have accused him of assaults. Like Andrew, 61, he vehemently denies any wrongdoing.

Ms Giuffre has launched a civil action in New York claiming she was forced to sleep with the duke three times at the age of 17 under the US age of consent when she was Epsteins sex slave.

Some charities that have received money from U.S. financier Jeffrey Epstein said they are reviewing their relationships with him or will decline to accept any future gifts from him in the wake of recent allegations he forced an underage girl to have sex with Britain's Prince Andrew and other powerful men. In interviews with Reuters, three recipients of Epstein's money said they would accept no more gifts, at least while the recent allegations are under review. The High Court has agreed to serve papers from her lawyer David Boies, giving the duke 21 days to respond to the claims.

Andrews attorney Andrew Brettler told a judge the lawsuit was non-viable and potentially unlawful, saying Ms Giuffre signed away her right to sue in a legal deal with Epstein in 2009.

The convicted paedophile sex-trafficker killed himself in prison in 2019.
