New measures imposed in Blackburn amid ‘rising tide’ of coronavirus cases

channel 4 - 4 months ago

New measures have been imposed in Blackburn with Darwen, after the area’s public health chief warned it was facing a rising tide of coronavirus cases.

For the next month, residents are being told to wear face coverings in all public spaces, including workplaces, along with stricter limits on the number of people who can visit a different household.

It’s an effort to bring the cases under control and avoid a local lockdown.
